About me
Maria Kafel-Bentkowska lives, studies and works in London. After finishing her Diploma in Foundation Art and Design Studies at Central St Martins she carried on to do BA (Hons) Product Design, which she completed in 2008 with first class honours. She is particularly interested in environmental and sustainable design as it is becoming such a significant issue in today's society. She believes and tries to demonstrate that sustainable design does not need to compromise on aesthetics or functionality, and can have mass-market appeal. Her completed designs include furniture, lighting and packaging. She has worked on client projects including Liberty, G24i and Marks and Spencer from whom she has been awarded the Starpack Prize 2007.
Maria is looking for work at the moment and is also interested in getting in contact with manufactures who deal with injection moulding and/or CNC machining.
